From August this year Dr O’Carrigan will be offering an Australian Orthopaedic Association approved Fellowship for suitably qualified Orthopaedic Surgeons who have obtained their FRACS(Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons) or equivalent.
This fellowship would involve working closely with Dr O’Carrigan at his Campbelltown Practice on Monday and Tuesday and at Macquarie University on Wednesday and Thursday with one day of operating and one of consulting each week.
The focus of the fellowship is Foot and Ankle Surgery with an emphasis on minimal incision(percutaneous) forefoot surgery, Total Ankle Replacement and correction of complex foot and ankle deformity with internal and external fixation.
The duration of the Fellowship is 6 or 12 months depending on the applicants requirements and availability.
