In September 2018 Dr Tim O’Carrigan was appointed to Macquarie University Hospital as part of the Limb Reconstruction Centre at MQ Health.
Dr O’Carrigan adds his experience in Foot and Ankle surgery particularly in
- Percutaneous Forefoot Surgery
- Total Ankle Replacement
- Complex Foot and Ankle Deformity correction particularly the use of External Fixateurs to correct deformity
- Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction
He will be operating all day on a Wednesday at Macquarie and consulting all day every Thursday.
At the Limb Reconstruction Centre at MQ Health he will be joined by A/Prof Munjed Al Muderis, Professor Kevin Tetsworth and Dr Razvan Stoita
The Unit will provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient management with input from Physiotherapy, Rehab, Pain Management and Psychology as well as other surgical and medical specialties such as Plastic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Infectious diseases and General Medicine with Dr Greg Bennett and Dr Nargis Shaheen.
The aim of this centre is to create a world renowned centre for Limb Reconstruction.
